Smoky Caesar with Jalapeno Onion Maple Bacon Garnish

Step1: Prep the Garnish
For our Smoky Caesar we were inspired by BBQ season and wanted to give in to our taste of summer desires. First grab four flavour packed ingredients: bacon, jalapenos, onions and maple syrup. Next, start the oven to 400 degrees or start up your BBQ. Take a skewer and slide on your bacon in a ribbon fashion with a chunky jalapeno or shisto pepper slice and a red onion wedge situated in between layers. Lightly dust your skewer with Maple Syrup. Time to cook your garnish. Cook your skewer for about 15 minutes in the oven or until cooked fully or til your desired doneness on the grill.

Step 2: Make it Smoke
While your garnish is cooking. It’s time to make some smoke. You’ll need these three things: a corkable bottle, a piece of wood about 4-5 in long and thin enough to fit inside your corkable bottle and a match or lighter.
Light the end of the wood and wait til it creates a smoke. Then insert the stick into the corkable bottle until the bottle fills with smoke. When the desired level of smokiness is reached, cap the bottle.

Step 3: Make that Caesar
Prepare your Caesar’s main ingredients. Combine 1 oz of Zirkova Together per every 4 oz of Clamato Juice. Add 4 dashes of Whorstechire and 2 dashes of tabasco per every 5 oz of cocktail.

Step 4: Smoked It!
Pour Caesar mix into a corked bottle with the smoke, combining the smoky flavour into your Caesar. Zirkova Together enhances and elevates the flavours of everything it’s mixed with, so it’ll grab onto that smoke and absorb it right into the liquid. Shake it lightly. The more your shake, the more flavour.

Step 5: Build your Smoked Caesar
Now your Caesar is smoky and ready to go. Now it’s time to build it to your liking. For our BBQ inspired Caesar we added three ingredients to give it that Smoky and Sweet flavour profile: Horseradish, BBQ Sauce and Maple Syrup. By adding a spoonful of these ingredients we took the heat to the next level in a sweet yet savoury way. Lastly, add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 6: Garnish it!
Now it’s time to add your Jalapeno Onion Maple Bacon Garnish and whatever other fun things you’d like to add on. We added some Xtreme Beans!

Step 7: ENJOY!
